William Hudson
November 1, 1867, to
June 9, 1869
William Hudson was appointed by General J.J. Reynolds Special Order #195. He
served until June 9, 1869.
Cliff Cates, Pioneer History of Wise County, tells of a Captain Hudson, who was
an in charge of the confederate troops in Wise and Cooke County area. It is unknown
whether this is the same man, but historians advise that during this time when government
was unsteady, many men who were officers in the governing forces were appointed to such
positions. |
