will reopen
Lake
Bridgeport
to watercraft traffic

WORTH, TX (

uly 6, 2007) - The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) will reopen Lake
Bridgeport in Wise County to watercraft traffic effective Saturday morning at
8:00 a.m. The lake level continues to fall due to the spillway discharges and
a decrease in rainfall and runoff.
Lake
Bridgeport
remains above its conservation elevation of 836.00 feet above mean sea level
(ft-msl). By 8:00 a.m. Saturday, the lake level should be near 837.50 ft-msl.
Boaters on all area lakes are urged to use caution and to keep a lookout for
submerged obstructions and floating debris.
TRWD
staff will continue to monitor the lake conditions and updates will be posted
on the water district's Web site at www.trwd.com
as needed.
